List Number 1: 8 Foods and Drinks To Get Through Your Period

1. Water- Thou must HYDRATE thyself

2. Herbal Tea, Cold and Hot- Herbs are more powerful than you think like green tea, raspberry tea, ginger tea, peppermint tea (any mint), and of the like.

3. CHOCOLATE!!!!!!- Chocolate gives you endorphins, endorphins make you happy. Happy people don't kill their guy friends. (no seriously sometimes it the ONLY chocolate frosting that keeps Shahn, Sergio, and Josh alive during this special time.)

4. Mac and Cheese- Cheese is also wonderful!!!

5. Meat- Meat is good all the time but on my period my carnivore levels go UPPPP!!!

6. Carrots- Keep healthy and carrots are just great

7. Decaf Coffee- Caffeine on your period is a no-no, but DECAF coffee is a way to bend the rules a bit.

8. Grapes (or any fruit)- They're sweet and juicy and replace candy in a heart beat. A great treat is to freeze the grapes, that's always fun.

  1. Now that I was informed by you that there is such a thing as a "man period", I cannot use the usual comment of how guys are so lucky that they don't have to go through this tortuous period. All I can say is that it can't be as bad as bleeding for a week and going through all that that entails. Currently, I'm on the post section of my own torturous time and let me tell you... mood swings are not just confusing for our male friends! I have no idea why I'm smad right now.
